CAREBEAR BAHAMAS GROCERY DRIVE

Carebear Bahamas is a non-profit organization focused on humanitarian aid, mentorship, and encouragement to those in need and families throughout Nassau, Bahamas. I was beyond excited to work with the Carebear Bahamas team to strengthen its Brand Identity and produce promotional materials for its first annual grocery drive and other prominent events. Be sure to follow their social media pages to be notified of what else they’re doing in the community, and stay tuned for upcoming events and prize giveaways.

HURRICANE DORIAN RELIEF

Being personally affected as I watched the catastrophic category 5 storm, Hurricane Dorian, destroy my hometown (the Bahamas) and endanger the lives of loved ones, I couldn’t be more thrilled when the founder of Fearless Gyals Unite (also a Bahamian local) reached out to me in an effort to bring relief to those in need. A special thank you to those who supported and donated to the first annual ‘Fearless Gyals Unite’ fashion show event and relief initiative. It was a major success!

WEAVING CULTURAL IDENTITIES phase ii EXHIBITION

The Weaving Cultural Identities is a multipart project by the Vancouver Biennale that brings together Indigenous and Islamic communities in a collaborative exploration of weaving traditions and histories, thereby unpacking uneasy issues of belonging, displacement, diaspora, the land, and identity. It was such a pleasure to play such a prominent role in this exhibition, managing both the social media marketing and promotional materials for this event. I couldn’t be more pleased with the overflowing support we’ve received.

TINY BAGS OF LOVE FINAL LOGO-01.jpg

TINY BAGS OF LOVE

Tiny Bags of Love was conceived to show love and compassion where it is lacking the most in BC. This non-profit organization aims to reach out to the underprivileged communities of Vancouver through the supplication of lunch, necessities, and scriptures of hope to not only feed their hunger but to also lift their spirits. It’s such a pleasure to work together with the Tiny Bags of Love founder to not only bring humanitarian and spiritual relief to those in need but create strong branding and marketing strategies allowing for growth within the city of Vancouver. Stay tuned for the official website.
