Carebear Bahamas is a non-profit dedicated to providing humanitarian aid, mentorship, and support to families in need across Nassau. I was thrilled to collaborate with the Carebear Bahamas team to enhance their brand identity and create promotional materials for their inaugural grocery drive and other key community events. HURRICANE DORIAN RELIEF
Having witnessed the devastating impact of Hurricane Dorian on my hometown in the Bahamas, and seeing the lives of loved ones at risk, I felt deeply compelled to help. When the founder of Fearless Gyals Unite, a fellow Bahamian, reached out to collaborate on a relief initiative, I couldn’t have been more honored. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and donated to the inaugural ‘Fearless Gyals Unite’ fashion show and relief event. Your generosity made it a resounding success, and together, we’re able to provide much-needed aid to those affected by the storm.
WEAVING CULTURAL IDENTITIES phase ii EXHIBITION
Weaving Cultural Identities is a multi-part project by the Vancouver Biennale that unites Indigenous and Islamic communities in a collaborative exploration of weaving traditions and histories. Through this process, the project addresses complex issues of belonging, displacement, diaspora, land, and identity. I’m honoured to have played a key role in this powerful exhibition, managing social media marketing and promotional materials. The overwhelming support we've received has been truly gratifying.
TINY BAGS OF LOVE
Tiny Bags of Love was founded with a mission to spread love and compassion to Vancouver’s most underprivileged communities. This non-profit provides essential supplies, meals, and scriptures of hope to not only satisfy physical hunger but also uplift spirits. It’s been a true pleasure collaborating with the founder to not only deliver humanitarian and spiritual support but also strengthen their branding and marketing strategies for growth within the city.
